CALIBRASKA INTERNSHIPS
The Calibraska Summer Program is like none other and creates very special experiences for the students, the teaching artists, and interns!
The Calibraska Arts Initiative is a summer-based teaching artist residency focused on connecting Nebraskans to Industry professionals largely based in the Los Angeles area. This summer, we are providing online classes and in-person at Lincoln, North Platte, and Scottsbluff.
The program kicks off on June 7th and runs through July 30th and this summer offers both in person and online classes that run the gamut of creative subjects from animation, direct cinema, character design, effects animation, 100 years of SciFi, acting, hip hop dance, CG Modeling and more! Check out the Classes...
Calibraska Arts Initiative Director, Erica Larsen-Dockray, leans on her connections from her Alma mater, CalArts as well as her extensive experience as an animation teaching artist in Los Angeles to put together a stellar line-up of instructors each year, many of whom are college faculty, working at the big production studios, and award winning artists and producers. Check out the teaching artists...
We are looking for up to 6 strong candidates for online assistance and 1 for in-person (or 3 single candidates for each city) to assist our teaching artists as well as support the back end of the program administration and outreach.
