CALIBRASKA ANIMATION 3.0

The Calibraska Arts Initiative sees many returning students now entering ages where they need extra support to pursue college degrees or careers in the arts. We want to honor their commitment to our program and their craft with free dedicated time and access to our teaching artists, equipment, software and materials!

Calibraska has developed a 3 tier animation curriculum track since its start in 2013. Our 3.0 tier is specially geared as an independent artist studio. The class is open to students 12yrs and up who have taken our animation 1.0 and 2.0 classes. Students who have not completed animation 1.0 or 2.0 may still apply if they are already signed up for both classes this summer before the Animation 3.0 class they are applying to takes place.

Unfortunately we are only able to offer the class to 5 students or 5 teams of 3 or less. This application will help us decide who we can offer the opportunity to so please fill it out to the best of your ability.

SPECIAL PRIORITY
Since we have a variety of students we've worked with we give added priority to:
1. Students who have taken the classes with us in past years.
2. High School Students who want to create work for a college/professional portfolio

If you don't hit either of those marks that is OK!

We are offering this class in person only in North Platte, NE June 28th -July 2nd and in Scottsbluff, NE July 12th-16th. It meets M-F 1-4pm each day.

The class is structured so you are able to focus entirely on a project you want to develop/create/design/etc with the help of our instructors and access to our animation backpacks which have the adobe suite installed on them as well as animation software you can use at your disposal and with the guidance of our teaching artists!

APPLICATIONS NEED TO BE RECEIVED BY MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY MAY 2ND TO QUALIFY.
Accepted applicants will be notified on May 7th of their acceptance.

Just a heads up that we ask for a description of your project as well as work samples as part of your application process
